Yia Yia’s Beet Juice
Beets, beets, they have so much powerful flavors, and you can use any amounts to get it to taste the way you want to by adding more beets and carrots can give it a rich, earthy flavor, but by adding more lemon or ginger will give a more refreshing zing. Like I said before, food is like art.
1/2 tps turmeric
a thumb-size piece of ginger
In a blender peel the beets and carrots, remove the stems. Cut the beets, carrots, pear into small chunks and add them to the blender or food processor. Add with some water until smooth. Taste and add fresh-squeezed lemon juice and grated ginger. By the way, the more ginger you add, the less you will taste the beets. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
