Tabbouleh/tabouli Salad Dish
When I was a little girl, my parents traveled a lot and one of the countries was Egypt where I was introduce to Tabouleh, main ingredient is parsley. Well, anything that uses olive oil and lemon, it becomes my favorite dish.
By the way, I love parsley and I like to use a lot of it in this side dish. All you need is Parsley, Bulgur, Tomatoes, Scallion, fresh mint, 7 (Bharat) spices, Lemons, Olive oil, and salt, okay 9 things but it’s so good. A gift to us from earth.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup #1 wheat bulgur (Bulgur is a good source of fiber, protein, iron and vitamin B-6)
3-4 bunches fresh farmers Parsley (Parsley is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healthy immune system, healthy for the heart, and Vitamin K)
2 medium or 2 large fresh tomatoes, finely chopped
1 large yellow onion, diced
2-3 Scallions finely chopped
1 bunches of fresh mint (A great remedy for nausea, headache, respiratory disorders and coughs, asthma, depression and fatigue, skin care and pimples and memory loss.)
1 tsp 7 spices/Baharat (I added a link below where you can find the 7 spices online plus what consist of the 7 spices)
1/4 cup organic extra virgin olive oil
4 to 5 lemons (depends on your taste)
1 tsp of Salt
Soak bulgur in a boil water after you take off the stove you add the bulgur #1 plus squeeze a lemon juice in the water for about 3 hours and then drain the water.
Add all your greens in a large bowl, then tomatoes, onions, and lastly 7 spices, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Mix all together, amazing.
Serve the dish with pita bread or crackers.

7 Spices/Baharat
A great idea would be to make, use a beautiful bottle or glass, and give it as a gift. Not everyone is aware of this spice, its great in many dishes, and gives a nice exotic flavor.
1 Tbsp Allspice
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Clove
1 Tbsp Nutmeg
1 Tbsp Ground Fenugreek (I have seen it using coriander instead of Fenugreek)
1 Tbsp Ground Dry Ginger
Mix all the spices in an airtight container and store away from heat and light.
I have also seen another recipe for the 7 Spices, this one has 8 spices:
2 Tablespoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
Believe me, it’s easy and quick to make Tabouli once you have all the ingredients. Serve with crackers, pita bread or as a side dish with your meal.
