 Tahini salad dressing (5 ways) 

Five different way to make Tahini Salad Dressing.  I love testing different ingredients with Tahini. This is a great way to add zest with the vegetables or for a salad.

Tahini Sauce with Orange Juice

INGREDIENTS

I whole fresh squeeze orange juice
1/4 cup tomato pulp (Optional)
1/4 cup cucumber pulp
2 large tablespoons sesame tahini
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon dill weed
2 sprigs escallion, American green onion
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
A dash of salt, and a dash cayenne pepper

MIXING INSTRUCTION

Mix all ingredients using a blender until smooth.  Store the dressing in a mason jar.  Refrigerate for up to 5 days.

One way to have kids eat their green vegetables, serve it with Tahini Sauce, great for snacks, and parties, too.

Green Vegetables
 

Tahini Sauce with Lemon Juice

2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil
2 tbsp Tahini
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 small garlic minced
1/4 tsp salt & Pepper

Mix all ingredients using a blender until smooth.  Store the dressing in a mason jar.  Refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Tahini Sauce with Ginger

Using the Food Processor
1/2 cup Tahini paste
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 cloves Garlic
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tsp Brad’s liquid Amino
2 tbsp Ginger
Approximately 1/2 cup of water, add more if needed

Tahini with Maple Syrup

1/4 cup tahini paste
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 lemon juice
2-4 tbsp hot water to thin, add more if needed

Tahini Sauce Recipe from Cyprus

2/3 cups tahini paste
1 whole lemon juice
1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup of water or more if needed
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Direction

Put the tahini paste,lemon juice, garlic and water in a bowl and use a blender or food processor to mix well for a minute or so. If needed add more water or lemon, it should be runny enough to easily drop off a spoon.

Add the olive oil and taste as you add the seasoning

Serve with toasted pita bread, or with any vegetables

* Using hot water in the food processor helps to loosen the tahini paste if it is thick, and lemon juice thickens the sauce.

Be creative with Tahini, Tzaziki or Hummus add crackers, pita bread and the vegetables you love! Great for kids snack or parties. Bring families together.

Tahini with Cashews

1 cup of cashew nuts
1 Tbsp of tahini
1 Tbsp of nutritional yeast
1/4 to 1/2 cup of water add extra if needed
1 whole juice of lime
Salt and Pepper to taste

Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend until creamy, about 5 minutes. To create a thinner consistency, add a little more water until you reach your desired texture. Voila!
