Salsa Recipe

Salsa Recipes (2 ways)

After moving to Arizona, we decided to create our own Salsa recipe.  Salsa is the Perfect party appetizers and a summer time favorite.  The history of Salsa sauce originated with the Inca people. Salsa (combination of chilies, tomatoes and other spices) can be traced to the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas. The Spaniards first encountered tomatoes after their conquest of Mexico in 1519-1521, which marked the beginning of the history of Salsa sauce.  Cinco De Mayo celebrated May 5th.

Ingredients
2-large 28 oz Hunts whole peeled tomatoes (I tried other brand and it did not work for us)
