Roasted Chickpeas
A great snack, and easy to make for everyone in the family. Always great to have in the kitchen cabinet a can of Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans. The raw Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans soak them in cold water overnight, if the Chickpeas water is cloudy, change it with fresh water. When you use the can of Chickpeas/Garbanzo beans, make sure you use the paper towel to remove the excess moisture, same with the raw ones.
Roasted Chickpeas

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup of raw chickpeas
Olive oil
Ground Cumin
Ground Paprika
Chili powder or cayenne pepper
Ground cinnamon
Sea salt and pepper
Optional, Raw nuts to serve with your Crispy Chickpeas
COOKING DIRECTIONS

Dry the chickpeas from the can with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
In a baking dish drizzle olive oil, sprinkle the spices of your choice evenly.
Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour (depending how crispy and crunchy you want them)
Toss them around in your baking dish a couple times as they are cooking in the oven.
When done, roll them in a paper towel until cool down. Serve in a bowl by itself or mix with your favorite raw nuts.
Great for parties, snack to take at work or for kids to take at school. It’s healthy with full of vitamins.
