I love simplicity when I cook healthy food. Artichoke heart with an orange. My mom use to make us in Cyprus artichoke hearts with green beans, I guess that’s why this plant was originated in the Mediterranean. Artichokes are loaded with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, K, folate, phosphorus, and magnesium.
One artichoke for me is like eating a meal. So delicious!
Ingredients: 1 artichoke, olive oil, squeeze lemon and a dash of salt
Boil the artichoke in hot water until the leafs far apart. when the artichoke is cooked put it in a plate with olive oil, squeeze lemon juice and a dash of salt. Yummy! Simple and delicious.
